H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS female solo artist Lee Seoyeon (Y:SY) unfolds her own tastes and way of life through her first mini album [GOODIES]. If she revealed her unfiltered self and showed who she truly is through her first single [NAKED], this album takes a closer look at what makes that ‘selfness’ who she is. Starting from small choices such as the things she often reaches for and familiar preferences, [GOODIES] captures the many pieces that make up Lee Seoyeon, from her attitude of speaking and acting in her own way to her mindset of embracing who she is and the life she lives now.

This mini album [GOODIES] captures Lee Seoyeon (Y:SY), who lives by trusting her own senses rather than others’ standards, across four R&B tracks. Through different stories ranging from her everyday tastes and her attitude of maintaining her own voice in relationships to the ways she comforts herself in moments of exhaustion, she presents her unique perspective and values.

The four tracks, based on R&B, each carry a distinct genre color, with two songs of contrasting charms serving as double title tracks. Moving across a wide range of sounds, from cool and free-spirited R&B to soft and dreamy Dream Pop/R&B and Pop/R&B filled with nostalgia and groove, the tracks flow naturally around Lee Seoyeon (Y:SY)’s distinctive tone and expressiveness.
