[DEAD:ALIVE] is an album that captures the process of ‘self-transcendence’, in which one does not stop even in the face of fear, breaks through all the limitations that once confined them, and grows into a new self.

The absence of fear is not courage. Taking one step forward while feeling fear, and moving forward despite it, is true courage.

Sometimes, in order to grow, you must break down the familiar version of yourself. That destruction is not the end but a new beginning, and those who overcome fear and pass through the collapse do not live as the same person they were before.

[DEAD:ALIVE] calls this paradoxical moment of breaking through one’s own limitations and being reborn as a new self ‘beautiful destruction’.
